I am a professional composer and amateur photographer, living in Durham, North Carolina (USA), but often found at my in-laws’ farm in rural Austria (Europe). My photos almost never have any elements added or removed in editing, only contrast, color, exposure and sharpening alterations. I try to present the scene as I witnessed it in the moment, especially how it felt to witness it. While AI can generate far more stunning, dramatic imagery almost effortlessly, it is missing the live experience of seeing and capturing the moment, which is for me still the most important part of this endeavor.
